The Pamela Howard Forum on Global Crisis Reporting of the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) is organizing an online training session for journalists on 17 November at 12 noon GMT, as part of the “Resilience” programme.

The session will be hosted by the specialist Mays Samhouri, who holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and holds specialized certificates in the treatment of psychological trauma, sexual problems and addiction, as well as the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of adult mental disorders.

The session will discuss the importance of psychological resilience, the most prominent potential challenges for journalists in the digital world, and how to deal with these challenges and digital bullying.

The session will enhance the capabilities of digital media workers to adapt to work environments, and some exercises and measures that can be taken to reduce the repercussions of working in the field of journalism will be conducted.
